In 2021, as we set up conventional Control Tower functionality, we conducted extensive research that reshaped our supply chain management approach.
Key findings
We discovered significant issues in traditional supply chain practices, including:
- Lack of dedicated logistics personnel.
- Limited data availability
- Overreliance on Long-Term Relationships.
- Unforseen costs attributed to price-focused procurement strategies and lack of interdepartmental cooperation.
Critical questions
These findings raised critical questions:
- Did customers fully understand their deliveries?
- Were charges justifiable and transparent?
This led to a paradigm shift
